Rabbi Fradji Chaouat Synagogue

كنيس الحاخام فرجي شواط

A pilgrimage site bearing witness to Testour’s long Jewish presence.

The story

Restored in the late twentieth century, the synagogue hosts an annual pilgrimage. It recalls that the Andalusian town was, for centuries, a place of mixed neighbourhoods.
