Privacy policy

Guid'Up Tunisia publishes the Guid'Up app and this site. This page says what we keep about you, why, for how long, and how to have it erased.

What we keep

• Your account, if you create one: name, email address, phone if you give it, language. The password is never kept as such, only an encrypted fingerprint of it. If you sign in with Google, we keep the identifier Google sends us, not your Google password.
• Your orders: the products, and the name, phone, email and delivery address you give, whether you collect or have it delivered, and any note.
• Your bookings: the workshop, outing or event, the time slot, the number of people and any note.
• What you publish or save: your reviews, your favourites, your itineraries.
• Audience measurement: the pages and places viewed and the links to the app followed, under a randomly drawn identifier. On this site that identifier lasts only as long as a browser tab; no cookie is set and nothing is kept in your browser.

The app asks for your location only when you tap "Locate me", to centre the map; it is not kept.

Why

To prepare and deliver your orders, confirm your bookings, write to you about them, keep your account, and see which places and content are viewed so we can improve them. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise, and we use no third-party trackers.

Who has access

The Guid'Up team, which prepares the orders and confirms the bookings itself: your details are not passed on to the artisans. Our technical providers process them on our behalf: hosting, in the European Union, and sending emails. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in under its own rules.

For how long

Your account is kept until you delete it. When you delete it, your name, email, phone, password and Google link are erased and all your sessions are closed; your favourites, itineraries, basket and notifications are deleted; your reviews stay published, without your name. Your orders and bookings are kept for accounting, with the details you gave for each of them.

Your rights

You can view and correct your information in the app (Profile › My profile), and delete your account from the app (Profile › Settings) or from this site. You can also ask us for a copy of your data or object to its use. In Tunisia these rights are those of Organic Law No. 2004-63; if you live in the European Union, those of the GDPR. You may contact Tunisia's national data protection authority (INPDP).

Security

Exchanges with the app and this site are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are kept only as fingerprints, and only Guid'Up's administrators can see orders and bookings.
